Mifgash is an event planning and group coordination platform developed by Makor Labs ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Mifgash application and website at mifgash.makorlabs.ai.

Account Information: Name, email address, profile photo, and phone number when you register.
Authentication Data: We use Firebase Authentication (including Google Sign-In) to manage your account securely.
User-Generated Content: Messages, photos, polls, event details, group information, and ride offers/requests you create.
Usage Data: Online status, last active timestamp, and interaction data to provide real-time features like typing indicators and presence.
Device Information: Push notification tokens for delivering notifications to your device.

To provide and maintain the Mifgash service
To enable event planning, group chat, ride coordination, and item management
To send push notifications about messages, event updates, and ride requests
To display your profile to other event/group members
To generate AI-powered suggestions (event images, item lists) when you request them

Google Firebase: Authentication, database (Firestore), file storage, cloud messaging, and hosting
Google Sign-In: Optional social login
Pixabay API: Stock photo suggestions for event covers
AI Services: Image generation and content suggestions (processed server-side)
Vercel: Web hosting and deployment

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage) with industry-standard encryption. We implement security rules to ensure users can only access data they are authorized to view.

We do not sell your personal information. Your data is shared only:

With other members of events and groups you join (as necessary for the service)
With third-party service providers listed above (for service operation only)
When required by law or to protect our rights

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data through your profile
Update or correct your information

Opt out of push notifications via your device settings
Mute specific chat conversations

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for analytics.

9. Children's Privacy

Mifgash is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
